Dr. Jim Gerhard has worked in international education for 26 years as a classroom teacher, school principal, curriculum coordinator, and professional development consultant across Asia. He has led WASC visiting teams at multiple international schools, taught at the university level, and delivered in-service and conference presentations on instructional practice, curriculum design, school leadership, and the Science of Learning.
Dr. Gerhard holds two master's degrees — in Curriculum and Instruction and in School Administration and Supervision — and is certified as a teacher, principal, and school superintendent in New York State. His experience spans school startup consulting, administrator coaching, accreditation leadership, and full-scale professional development design across elementary, middle, and high school divisions.
Productive Logic reflects a straightforward premise: the most useful consulting comes from someone who has personally held every role they are advising on — and who measures success by what changes in classrooms and schools, not by client satisfaction surveys.
